How to Open a Hive
Uusally if you smoke the hive at the entrance and then smoke the top while opening the lid. Close the lid and wait 30 seconds. Then if you open it, the bees will be calm. Usually at noon, it is the best time since many of the bees area gone foraging. When the hive is real full the, the bees usually are more aggressive.
